The Yokohama Rubber Group would like to express our deepest condolences to the families of the many people who lost their lives due to the unprecedented heavy rains and flooding that occurred in the province of Valencia in eastern Spain on October 29, and we extend heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

Yokohama Europe GmbH, the Yokohama Rubber Group’s European regional headquarters company, has provided aid through Caritas, an international charity, to support the reconstruction of devastated areas in Valencia. Also, immediately after the disaster, Yokohama Iberia S.A., the Group’s local tyre sales company, delivered supplies such as gloves and daily necessities to temporary evacuation centers, including schools in the Province of Valencia, and is still providing ongoing support.
